Family Medical Leave
Datrose knows the importance of family and medical matters, and is committed to providing our employees with full compliance to federal FMLA regulations. The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requires that businesses with over 50 employees provide internal personnel with 12 weeks of unpaid leave.
FMLA requires covered employers to provide up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave to eligible employees for the following reasons:
- for incapacity, due to pregnancy, prenatal medical care or child birth;
- to care for the employee’s child after birth, or placement for adoption or foster care;
- to care for the employee’s spouse, son, daughter or parent, who has a serious health condition; or…
- for a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform the employee’s job.
Eligibility for family and medical leave is in effect after a time when the employee has worked for their employer at least 12 months, at least 1,250 hours over the past 12 months, and at a location where the company employs 50 or more employees within 75 miles.

Datrose is committed to the reasonable and fair treatment of our employees regarding injury or illness that comes as a direct result of their job. Datrose is in full compliance with all state regulations concerning worker’s compensation.
Worker’s compensation insurance distributes cash benefits and/or medical care to workers who are injured or become ill as a direct result of fulfilling job duties. In a worker’s compensation case, no single party is determined to be responsible for the injury/illness. However, loss of rights to worker’s compensation may come as the result of drug or alcohol intoxication, or the employee’s intent to harm his/herself or someone else.
