Founded
in 1976, in Rochester, New York by William Rose, DATROSE now
proudly employs over 650 employees, has a presence in over
25 states, and serves many medium to large clients nationwide,
including twelve Fortune 500 companies. DATROSE has been recognized
as one of top 35 “Rising Stars” by International
Association of Outsourcing Professionals (published in April,
2006 issue of Fortune Magazine) as well as one of top 100
“African-American owned businesses in U.S.” by
DiversityBusiness.com. DATROSE has also earned many awards
throughout its history, including Eastman Kodak’s Certified
Supplier award in 2005 and 2006 for achieving high quality
standards set by Kodak, and Lockheed Martin’s Star Supplier
award in 2005 for exceeding the quality and delivery requirements
established by Lockheed. Other awards include Diversity Business
Top US Diversity Owned Business of 2005 & 2004, Ranked

William Rose's vision for DATROSE has been to maintain the

A veteran in the technology services industry for more than
thirty-five years, Bill Rose launched his career in 1963 by
helping to pioneer the automation of computer student applications
while employed at the Board of Cooperative Educational Services
(BOCES). His passion for quality and creating Customer Delight
were evident even then, and his dedication to these values
has never changed.
Bill has served on several boards, trade and advisory councils,
including:

- Welfare to Work Board of Directors.
- Big Brother/Big Sister Program of Rochester, Girl Scouts
of Genesee Valley Board of Directors,
- Upstate New York Regional Minority Purchasing Council
