Jerome
Underwood’s role focuses on implementing accurate controls and
systems across the business units, and ensuring the timeliness and
integrity of internal and external reporting. Major areas include all
financial policies, improving corporate-wide financial controls, and
timely reporting of financial data.
Prior to joining DATROSE in 1998, Jerome spent 10 years with HSBC Bank
in Rochester and Buffalo, New York
in a number of positions encompassing commercial lending, credit
analysis, and commercial product development.
Jerome holds an MBA in Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology.
His undergraduate work was done at St. John
Fisher College
(also in Rochester)
where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He has also
attended the Business Executive Program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, NH.
He serves on several trade and human service boards, and is the President
of the Flower City Soccer League, Inc. the only citywide youth soccer
program in Rochester,
New York, targeted at
children ages 7 to 14 who reside in the City. He enjoys speaking to and
motivating adolescent youth.
